software on the market

Aid4Mail Forensic Software

Aid4Mail™ Forensic is a powerful, but easy to use, email investigation software for forensic analysis, e-discovery, and litigation support. Our clients range from individuals to leading law firms, litigation services, law enforcement organizations, eDiscovery and forensic firms, government agencies, intelligence and military organizations, Fortune 500 corporations, educational and scientific institutions, and international organizations throughout the world.

New: Aid4Mail 2.0

Aid4Mail 2.0 is now in the final stages of beta testing and we have already started selling licenses for those who need its new features. Aid4Mail 2.0 is completely scriptable, allowing you to create custom filters and output, and to launch external console applications. It also adds PDF and PDF-A export, various hash functions, and IMAP connection. Of course, this is in addition to the rest of the features listed further down this page.

If you would like to try, or purchase, the pre-release of Aid4Mail 2.0 then please visit the Aid4Mail 2.0 Store page.

Supported Mail Formats

Aid4Mail supports over 30 email clients and mailbox formats including Outlook (PST and MSG files, and MAPI profiles), Microsoft Exchange (through a MAPI profile), Outlook Express (including Usenet messages), Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird, Eudora, and Apple Mail. For a full list of Aid4Mail's supported formats, see the Specifications page.

Searching/Filtering Email

Aid4Mail Forensic can search PST files and all supported mail formats, by date range and by keywords in the message body or header. Special Boolean operations are supported. It is able to process unpurged (deleted) email from mbox-type files and to restore unpurged email during exportation.

Converting Mail

Aid4Mail Forensic can export messages for viewing through Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel, and most databases, facilitating file sharing with clients. It can compress files, and extract attachments, embedded contents, and email addresses, filtering out duplicates. Unlike the native import and export features of most email applications, Aid4Mail maintains formatting, sender/recipient information, attachments, embedded contents, and message status (see the Conversion Quality page for examples). It can also process mail folders and files even when disconnected from their email client, including those stored on external media or on a network server.

Why Choose Aid4Mail Over a Competing Product?

Email processing is a complex task with many pitfalls and no product is perfect. However Aid4Mail consistently produces more accurate results than any of its closest competitors, notably when handling mail from Outlook, Exchange, PST and MSG files. You cannot afford to lose important email contents during forensic and other eDiscovery investigations. If you value the integrity of your data, try Aid4Mail for free and carefully compare its output with any competing product.

Testimonial

We work with over 1TB [one terabyte] of email per month and your Aid4Mail product has shown to be an integral part of our toolset for dealing with these volumes of email. We are very impressed with your commitment to your products and appreciate the strong customer support.
