software on the market

Conversion Quality

The following examples demonstrate the quality of mail conversion achieved by Aid4Mail, in comparison to that of Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, and a competing migration tool:

  1. Converting Eudora Outbox to Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express (first page)
  2. Converting Eudora Inbox to Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express (previous page)
  3. Comparison showing loss of header data produced by competing product (this page)

In all examples, Aid4Mail carries out a perfect conversion with no data lost. Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, and a competing migration tool demonstrate problems such as unreadable messages and the loss of addresses, dates, and embedded contents.

3. Comparison showing loss of header data produced by competing product

The message header shown in the following screenshots originates from an Outlook PST Inbox. The first image shows the header produced by an “award-winning”, “industry-leading” migration tool; notice the many missing header fields, the date set to the wrong time zone, and worst of all in this particular example the lost email addresses. Sometimes data loss is more subtle and may only be discovered when it's too late. The second image shows the header from the same source email, but this time it was exported using Aid4Mail; the original header data is fully restored.

3.1. RFC message header extracted from Outlook PST using a competing migration tool

RFC header exported from Outlook PST file using a competing product

3.2. Same RFC message header extracted from Outlook PST using Aid4Mail
