Trial Mode Limitations

The trial is fully functional with these modifications to processed emails:

  • 1. Subject lines are truncated to 20 characters and appended with:
    [Created with trial version of Aid4Mail]
  • 2. From address is replaced with:
    trial-mode@aid4mail.com
  • 3. Attachments are removed from emails larger than:
    • • 10 MB in Aid4Mail Converter
    • • 1 MB in Aid4Mail Investigator & Enterprise

These limitations are removed immediately upon activation.

Important: Data produced by Aid4Mail during trial mode is for evaluation purposes only and must be deleted once you finish testing the software.

How to Activate Aid4Mail

First Time Launch

When you first open Aid4Mail, you'll see the License selection screen where you can:

  • • Activate a purchased license by clicking the Activate button
  • • Select an edition (Converter, Investigator, or Enterprise) to use in trial mode

Standard Activation

  1. 1. Purchase your Aid4Mail license
  2. 2. You'll receive an activation code and password via email
  3. 3. Click Activate on the License selection screen
    (or use File → Activate license if already in trial mode)
  4. 4. Copy/paste your activation code and password
  5. 5. Click the Activate button
  6. 6. Aid4Mail is now fully activated!

Offline Activation (Air-gapped Systems)

  1. 1. Contact our help desk to request offline activation
  2. 2. Follow the instructions provided to generate your Hardware ID
  3. 3. Send the Hardware ID to our support team
  4. 4. Receive your offline key file via email
  5. 5. Save the key file to your hard drive
  6. 6. Import the key file in Aid4Mail to complete activation

Tip: Annual subscriptions include offline activation at no extra charge. This is ideal for secure environments without internet access.

How to Uninstall Aid4Mail

Standard Uninstall Process

Method 1: Using Windows Settings

  1. 1. Open Windows Settings (Win + I)
  2. 2. Go to Apps → Installed apps
  3. 3. Search for "Aid4Mail"
  4. 4. Click the three dots menu and select Uninstall
  5. 5. Follow the prompts to complete removal

Method 2: Using Control Panel

  1. 1. Open Control Panel
  2. 2. Go to Programs → Programs and Features
  3. 3. Find "Aid4Mail" in the list
  4. 4. Right-click and select Uninstall
  5. 5. Follow the uninstaller prompts

Note: Uninstalling Aid4Mail will not delete your project files or processed emails. These remain in your chosen output folders.
